B is for Boost
And the [instructions] which you have heard from me along with many witnesses, transmit and entrust [as a deposit] to reliable and faithful men who will be competent and qualified to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2 (AMP)
In the ABC’s of delegation, “B” is for boost! If you’ve ever stretched to reach something above your head you’ve needed a boost. A boost is when one person lowers himself to the feet of another, laces his fingers together and allows that person to step into his hands. He then raises himself up and in the process lifts the other person even higher.
For Kingdom leaders, giving others a boost means giving them what they need to succeed. It means being transparent about what has and hasn’t worked for you in the past. It means making sure those you lead have access to the same resources that have garnered success for you. That’s what the Apostle Paul told Timothy to do in 2 Tim 2. “(what) you have heard from me…transmit to others…”
In the Kingdom model, your success is not just for you. This week, look for ways to put your hands together and give somebody else a boost.
Success and Progress,
