Back at One Mentoring Moments, the 1 min blog
So you got a call that you have lost something or someone very close to you. Maybe it’s not quite as severe as what Job experienced, but it knocked you back a square. As a matter a fact, it felt as though you were knocked back to “Square One”.
What do you do? Well as leaders in the Kingdom we have to recognize that according to Romans 8:28 “All things work together for our good”…. so you put one foot in front of the other and create forward momentum. Isaiah 43:18-19 says “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert”.
When you find yourself back to square one, take steps 2, 3 and 4 in faith to move into what God has next for you. Remember that a lot of times God is just making us into another vessel as he did in Jeremiah 18:4. We have to trust Him even when we are “Back at One”.
