Back to the Future, Mentoring Moments, the 1 min blog
“Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure and purpose,” Isaiah 46:10
This month, we’re looking at a leader’s greatest tool, vision. It provides energy, direction and purpose. Vision is the fuel that drives every successful person I know and every successful team.
The ultimate visionary, God Himself, says in Isaiah 46:10 that he declares the end and the result from the beginning. Visionaries create a picture of the future we want to see. That picture draws people into action to get the results they want.
But like any picture, vision can fade or become distorted. What’s a leader to do? Go back to the future. Spend time thinking, dreaming, visualizing and talking about the world you want to see. Refuel, revision and recreate. More on vision next week.
Success and Progress!
