3 Areas of Your Life Everyone Encounters

 In Uncategorized

April is the month of FRESHNESS! Welcome to week two of Spring Cleaning.

This week we focused on the 3 areas of your life everyone encounters.

Watch the scope right here.

Everyone who comes into your home encounters these three things.  They each represent an element of you life.

1st Your floors.   Floors need to be cleaned weekly and depending on how close to the doors they are, some will need to be swept clean daily.

Your floors represent the places you’ve walked…your history.  Everyone who comes into your life encounters your past.  You cannot undo your past but you can make sure that your that past experiences do not skew your view of life.  You know you’ve been infected if you judge people based on your pain rather than the Word or wisdom of God.  Infections will manifest as trust issues, esteem issues and demonic cycles.

The enemy doesn’t just want to cut you, he wants to infect you.  –PamRoss

2ndYour WALLS!

Walls represent the boundaries of your life.  Are you taking responsibility for your own thoughts, desires, emotions and decisions while allowing others to take responsibility for theirs? When leaderslack boundaries, they wait for the approval of others before taking lead.  Time, energy and money are wasted and vision is delayed. If you followwith proper boundaries you can let in what’s good for you and keep out the bad or unimportant.

3rd Your Furniture.

Cleaning your furniture means checking how you position yourself.  Are you seeing yourself the God sees you? When is the last time you checked your personal blind spots?

Furniture also represents the company you choose to keep. The two are connected because you attract who you and you’re attracted to who you think you are. When others encounter you, they encounter your closest relationships too!

Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future. Dr. Bill Winston

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Everyone you meet encounters your past, your boundaries and your relationships (with yourself and others).  Do these thingsto protect your leadership and your “follow-ship.”
