Dust Yourself Off and Try Again, Mentoring Moments, the 1 min blog
As we lead and aspire to successfully reach the calling of the Lord, blunders may happen but God has already made a provision. Psalm 37:24 says “…though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.” The Lord doesn’t expect our actions to be perfect but our hearts to be in perfect alignment with His.
Effective leadership can’t occur when we’ve lost our confidence. Remember, 2 Tim 1:7 says:”For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline”. Doubt and fear create a level of anxiety and insecurity that causes you to question who you are and what you’ve been called to do.
If you’ve made a mistake, you’re in good company. Don’t let embarrassment of the past hinder success of the future. Walk in your God-given power with boldness! Dust yourself off and try it again!
