Failure Isn’t Final Mentoring Moments, the 1 min blog
The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. Psalm 145:14
When’s the last time you heard a coach tell his team, “O.K. guys, let’s get out there and LEARN something new!”
The truth is we all want to win! We practice to win. We train to win. But any great winner will tell you, even a loss can teach you how to win.
Given the chance to interact with successful people, I’m eager to discover everything they did right. How do you know when a deal is right? How did you find the right partners? However, I’m learning that there is often more wisdom gained in failure than success.
The bigger the mistake the greater the lesson and the longer we remember it! As the saying goes, hindsight is 20/20. Looking back we can all see where Wisdom went one way and we went another.
The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. So the next time the cake falls or the relationship ends, or the big idea goes flat, you may have just learned your key to success.
Success and Progress!
