Fresh Air!

In bravery, Communications, Endurance, excellence, faith, Gods Mercy

April is the Month of FRESHNESS! We’ve been spring cleaning both our external and internal environment. Time to open the windows and let in some fresh air.

  • Fresh air is good for digestion.
  • Improves your blood pressure and heart rate.
  • It makes you happier
  • Strengthens your immune system.
  • Fresh air cleans your lungs.
  • You will have more energy and a sharper mind.

How does fresh air relate to the spring cleaning of your soul?

Air out differences with those who are important to you.  Mathew 18:15-17amp tells us exactly how to do that.

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. STEP ONE:  tell the person who has offended you, not everyone or anyone else.
If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. Check your motives. What are you trying to win? The argument or your brother?
But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. STEP TWO:  Don’t bring people to agree with you.  Do bring someone you both trust and respect.
If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. STEP THREE: Church leaders may be able to help clear the air between you.
And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. STEP FOUR:  How do you treat gentiles and tax collectors-we do not trust or have intimate fellowship but we never stop loving.

Do NOT waste your time airing out differences with people who are not important to you.

2 Timothy 2:23 But refuse (shut your mind against, have nothing to do with) trifling (ill-informed, unedifying, stupid) controversies over ignorant questionings, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels.

Air Dirty laundry.  Yep! That’s right.  It’s healthyto air out those dirty family secrets. Is there something eating at you? Get counseling, talk to a trusted friend or minister.

Air out your guilt.  Do you need to come clean about something? It’s the best thing for your soul and makes room for honest and powerful prayer to work on  your behalf.

James 5:16Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

Success and Progress!
