Hope, Mentoring Moments, the 1 min blog

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5 (KJV)

Recently, I’ve had several interactions with the Rainbow PUSH organization here in Chicago. Family Christian Center hosted a portion of their international conference and I was the principal driver on our end. If you spend enough time at Rainbow PUSH you will come across the phrase, “Keep Hope Alive!”

keep-hope-aliveHope is perhaps one of the most underused keys to the Kingdom. Many times we elevate having faith above just hoping. But hope is a picture of what the Word of God can produce in our lives, and a byproduct of genuine faith.

Most times we shop for a frame after we have a picture. But imagine being given a frame and creating a picture to go in it. What does “wealth and riches in your house” look like? What does “household salvation feel like?” What does ”I will make you a blessing” mean to you, personally?

Capture a clear picture of these promises and more and when you do, “Keep Hope Alive.”

Success and Progress!
