Laboring together [as God’s fellow workers] with Him …2 Corinthians 6:1 (AMP)
Recently, I asked our Bible College Students why many believers fail to take initiative. One of the of the prominent reasons was self-doubt. We aren’t sure we can do it. In fact, we’re pretty sure than we can’t do it. “Good!” I said. You’re standing at the brink of destiny looking at the horizon of your assignment saying “God, I can’t do this without you.” Well guess what God is standing right there with you looking at the potential He’s planted in you saying “[insert your name here] I can’t do without you.”
The Bible says we labor together with God. If you’re like me, you’re thinking what a lopsided team. But don’t you underestimate the value you bring. There are things that won’t be said until you say them, won’t be built until you build them, won’t get written until you write them. Yeah, at the end of the day, you might feel like Lois Lane flying with Superman, but you flew didn’t and flying beats walking every day of the week. So partner up and get to work.
