Plug-in! Mentoring Moments, the 1 min blog
“He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.”
Psalm 23:2-3 NKJV
“Plug-in or find another power source.” We’ve all responded to that message at one time or another.
It’s a fresh new month, and KLD is focused on helping leaders re-charge. Here are some tips to get us started.
It’s best to recharge when you’re at rest. Just like our devices, we charge faster when not in use. Take a break, step away from what you’re doing and allow your mind and emotions to re-set.
Use compatible docking stations. We’re all different. I’m an extrovert; I re-charge around the right people. If you’re an introvert, you may just need some peace and quiet. Do what’s best for you.
Avoid the red zone! Eat before you’re starving. Speak up before you lose control. Connect with friends before you’re desperately lonely. And plug-in before you shut down.
Here’s to keeping your energy high and your stress low!
Success and Progress!
