Prepare for the Impossible

Exodus 12:11 (KJV)
And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD’S passover.

Exodus 12 gives instructions for Israel’s last night of captivity in Egypt.  After hundreds of years of slavery, the prophet Moses told the people they would be delivered; set free without a ransom or even a fight.  The “almighty” pharaoh was going to allow billions of dollars of free labor to simply walk away.

Can you just imagine the people eating that roasted Passover lamb fully dressed and ready to travel? Not knowing how God would do it, but believing that some how He would.

God makes some outrageous promises, but He always delivers. What God has promised, He is able to perform. Follow His instructions and those of the prophet in your life. Prepare to receive your answers.  And while you’re waiting, go ahead and give Him glory!
