This is the final installment on Extreme Leadership, leading in a world where sticks and carrots don’t work. If you missed the previous posts, they are definitely worth watching.

I want to focus on results. After all, if extreme leading is more challenging, it had better be worth it.

In Matthew 23:4 (AMP) Jesus said about the religious leaders of His day, “They tie up heavy loads, hard to bear, and place them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves will not lift a finger to help bear them.” INSIDEOUT

These leaders were trying to move people from the outside in. Using external things like fear of punishment or promise of praise. The result is found in the next verse when Jesus said, “They do all their works to be seen of men.”

We are called to lead people from the inside out and focus on putting values in them, not putting rules on them. The result is multiplication of people who share your values and the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

Now that’s what I call Success and Progress!
