Sister Girl to the Rescue! (please rsvp)
A dear friend of mine and I have created a new super-hero! She’s not Super Girl or Bat Girl; she’s Sister Girl! Sister Girl doesn’t have super strength. Instead she has a super metabolism that enables her to eat whatever she wants without gaining an ounce of fat. Just imagine yourself sitting alone in a restaurant, tempted to eat that entire slice of triple-layer double-dark chocolate cake. Suddenly Sister Girl swoops in! She quickly devours all but a cracker-sized square leaving you to enjoy a reasonable portion of cake guilt free.
I’m sure Sister Girl will emerge in some of my future writings or as comic relief on PamRoss.tv. But for now I’m recruiting my real Sister Girls to join me in coming to the rescue of another sister in need of a friend.
Each One Reach One Child, (EOROC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing child violence and bringing relief to the distressed and underprivileged. I am honored to be a board member. This year EOROC is partnering with Catholic Charities in their work with teen moms. Our first effort is to provide Christmas gifts for the moms and their children. I have adopted a 19-year-old, Tynika. Tynika has a beautiful 1-month-old baby girl, Taylor. Listed below are some of the things Tynika and Taylor need right away.
I’m inviting my Sister Girls, to purchase something on the list and then join me for coffee at Borders -10135 S Indianapolis Blvd, Highland – Monday, November 23 from 7-8 p.m. (Brothers, you are not forgotten. We welcome your help and support too!) To RSVP leave a comment or email me at email@example.com and let me know what you will purchase.
