Start Now! Mentoring Moments, the 1 min blog
My children used to watch a superhero on TV called the Procrastinator. Whenever there was an emergency she would boldly exclaim I’ll get to it…eventually!” Needless to say, she wasn’t very super. But she did remind me of Ecclesiastes 11:4 (NKJV):
When we judge the seasons of life by outward signs we can be easily misled. If you’re waiting for the perfect moment, you’ll probably be waiting a while. Don’t allow your social, spiritual or economic climate to cause you to be the Procrastinator.
That same chapter teaches we don’t always see what God is doing and we never know which endeavor will yield the harvest we’ve been waiting for. Do what you can as soon as you can. Start small if you must but for God’s sake start. It’s the only way to achieve…“Success and progress!”
