Take Notice
AS HE passed along, He noticed a man blind from his birth. John 9:1 (AMP)
John chapter 9 holds one of my favorite passages of scripture. Jesus performs a both famous and controversial miracle when He healed a blind man with dirt and spit. This act of compassion was what I call the “total package.” It was, of course, a miracle moment for the blind man. But it was also a teaching moment for the disciples, an issue of controversy for the community and a bone of contention for the Pharisees .
The Bible doesn’t indicate if Jesus knew the fallout that would occur. Frankly, I don’t think he cared. After all, He had just escaped an assassination attempt in chapter 8. Jesus’ mind was not on His own well-being. It was on the Kingdom. So when He noticed a situation that did not line up with the Kingdom standard He simply fixed it.
I challenge you to notice things in your world and in your power that don’t line up with Heaven and do what you must to fix them. Like Jesus, all you really have to do is take notice.
Success and Progress!
