Which Change will you Choose?
Luke 15:20 (KJV)
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Have you ever thought you were right and turned out to be so very wrong? I have. I was driving and made a wrong turn. When I finally decided to ask for directions, the gas station attendant informed me that I needed to turn around and go seven miles in the other direction. “Seven miles?” I said, “That’s a long way!” He wisely replied, “Yes, but you’ll never get there headed the way you’re going.”
As right as he was, I still had a choice. I could go back to my car, admit my mistake and get going in the right direction, or I could dig in my heels and insist on getting there my way.
Try as we may to avoid change, when the Word of God convicts us we make a change either knowingly or unknowingly. We can change our direction and get there God’s way. Or we can keep doing things our way and ultimately change our destination. Which change will you choose?
Success and Progress!
